Damon and I got home today around 4pm. The drs did rounds this morning about 10:30 and said we could go, but it was almost 3pm before we left Springfield because we had to wait on Damon to get a flu shot and for them to arrange for us to get a breathing treatment machine (otherwise known as a nebulizer) for us to use at home. They want Damon to do the breathing treatments for a few days longer. If it hasn't been posted on here before now, Damon does have RSV. The dr's told me that he needs to stay away from all small children until his cough is completely gone, as he still might be contagious. I'm thinking that we are going to try harder to stay away from large crowds of children until winter/cold/flu season is over because I just don't like him having to go the hospital at all. So pray with me for Mr. Groundhog to NOT see his shadow in a few weeks. Or for him TO see it, I can't remember which one means that spring is coming...anyway, thanks for the prayers for him. Talk to you all later.

Granny and Pa say: We are thankful to God that prayers were lifted up and answered in behalf of little Damon so that he could be treated and now is home to recover. We hope he feels better soon!
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but no matter what, Feb. 2nd to the 1st day of spring is ALWAYS 6 weeks away, no matter if he sees his shadow or not.
Well I am glad Damon is home. I hope he gets to feeling better so he can help daddy eat his cake on Sunday. Have a good week.
I'm thankful for Damon's recovering too. He looked so bad in his eyes, you could tell he didn't feel good. Myles is such a good big brother. It is hard on him when Damon has to go to the hospital, he really worries about him. Thank you God for Myles, and give him comfort when things go bad that he doesn't fully understand. Munkin
Glad to hear you guys are home, the cold/flu season always seems to hit our heart kiddos so hard. We are with you...spring can come anytime :)

Know EXACTLY how you are doing. Cade is just now getting over his RSV. I am left to wonder why they don't continue those monthly shots with these HLHS babies. We are glad to hear that you are doing better.
And by the way, we loved the Christmas card picture.
Take care!
