Damon was born on Nov 16, 2006 in St. Louis, MO. He has a congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Damon has had 2 of the 3 surgeries he will need to repair his heart. We glorify God for all he has done for Damon so far and will continue to do. God bless all of you who check this site; we love you so much and thank you for your prayers and support.
The boys and I are going to participate in the summer reading program at our local library and while I was checking out the info I saw that they are having a photography contest. I don't really think there is a prize, except you get your work displayed in a gallery for a while. But photography is a passion of mine so I thought I'd enter something. Now I need you to help me choose what to enter! These shots were all taken around the Joplin area. Leave me a comment about which one is your favorite.
Your photos are all so beautiful! I love them!!! If I had to pick a favorite, I think it would be the one that is second down on the left hand side. With the silver upside down buckets.
You should number them... my fave is "number 3"(????) - the one with the silver buckets I mean... Good luck with your entry, hope you "make the library"!
Good luck and I hope the kids enjoy the reading program. We are going to give that a shot too - My dd is interested in winning some great prizes they offer her. anything to get her to read in my opinion!!
I love the first one!! Its amazing! To answer your question about sizes, my fair has a huge contest each year with prizes, money, etc. There rules to enter state all photographs must be dry mounted on foam core or mat board, and be 11X14. This protects the photo and gives it a more finished look. Good luck!!
I love the washtubs and the carved tree, but the one that really draws me into it is the first one. There is something about those metal objects being lost in the green of nature that makes me want to look further.
Good to hear from you and praise God for those angels that do double duty for little boys!
Well, leave it to me to go against everyone else's opinion. I love the tree picture. It is simple yet makes a huge statement about the story behind the picture. Hope you do well. Michelle

I love them! My favorite is the
4th one I believe...the one with the vignette. Very pretty!
Good Luck!

Oh they are all nice. I love the upturned washtubs, but the carved tree is endearing. Best wishes. Come back to SIS to let us know the results.
Granny says: Enjoy the summer reading program at the library. That's a great program. I like the photo of the upside down buckets the best. Granny
I like the flowers - simple and less is best!
