I guess you probably guessed that by now, but just in case I wanted to make it clear. Damon was released on Nov 1st. He was in the hospital for 12 days total, the same number of days he was there when he was born. Since coming home he has been doing so great. He's gotten back to his old self and is playing and making us all laugh everyday. He has been quite clingy and needy though, which can be very difficult. He also throws a pretty big fit at some point every day and that is very difficult as well. I was changing his dressing on his chest every day but it's all scabbed over so no more bandages are needed. It looks good. He had an appointment with both Dr Wheeler and Dr Tong last week and they both said he's doing great. Dr Tong said there is no build up of fluid around his lungs. He will go back there the first week in Dec for another check up. He'll have to have another chest x-ray and if that looks clear then he can come off the lasics.

Here's some big news....Damon is being granted a wish by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. They came to visit him last week as well and he communicated to them that he wishes he could meet The Wiggles and dance with them. I don't know how they are going to make that happen but I'm so excited for him to get to be rewarded for being so brave through all the obstacles he's had to face. I'll definetly keep you posted on all the news about this.

Some even bigger news.....tomorrow is Damon's birthday!!!!! Actually, 27 minutes from now will be his birthday. He's so excited! He has been saying that he wants a blue wiggles shirt like Anthony wears, black Wiggles pants, shoes, socks, underwear, and a belt. I'm pretty excited to give him his presents tomorrow, I know he's going to love them. I'm so grateful for every minute with him, even the ones when he's screaming. I'm so lucky to be his mama!
